Not sure where to start? →For couples in crisis, out-of-town clients, and anyone who wants to go hard at one specific thing and be done with it. Structured, focused, integrative — and planned with care for what comes after.

Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW, QS) in FL & CO. Gottman Level 1 Trained. Currently earning my Sex Therapist and Sex Educator Certification through the Sexual Health Alliance (SHA). Trained birth doula. Trauma specialist. Couples, individuals, and new parents on the stuff that doesn’t have easy language: intimacy, desire, shame, rupture, reconnection.
No fluff. No sugarcoating. No "play it safe." If you’ve already tried therapy that left you with vocabulary but not change, this is going to feel different.

“Better intimacy. Better love. Starting now.”
Twelve questions. Honest answers. Find out exactly where your connection is breaking — and what to do about it. Most couples find at least two blind spots inside the first page.

The questions you'd never ask out loud, answered on air. A weekly show about sex, intimacy, and the messages you absorbed before you knew you were absorbing them.

Logistics, scope, and the "is this weird of me to ask” questions. It’s not weird. Here.
Take the Intimacy AuditFill out the inquiry form on the Contact page. You'll hear back within 48 hours, usually same-day, with a 20-minute consultation slot. The consult is free and exists for one reason: to make sure this is the right fit before either of us commits.
Both. In-person is available at the Jacksonville, FL office. Virtual sessions are available anywhere in Florida or Colorado — secure video, no download required.
This is a private-pay practice. A superbill is available on request for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan covers it. Couples and intimacy therapy are rarely covered by insurance anyway — most couples don't carry a diagnosis, and intimacy work isn't medically coded.
Yes. No nudity, no touching, no physical exam — ever. Intimacy therapy here is clinical talk therapy that specializes in desire, shame, sexual wellness, and the parts of your life most therapists don't have the training to sit with. (Hallel is currently earning her Sex Therapist and Sex Educator Certification through SHA — until that's complete, the work is offered as intimacy therapy.)
No. If you're in acute crisis, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest ER. This practice is set up for ongoing work, not emergencies.

For partners who are tired of circling the same fight, or tired of not fighting at all. We rebuild the emotional baseline so the hard conversations stop being disasters.

Desire discrepancy, avoidance, shame, body stuff, the aftermath of religion or purity culture — we go where weekly therapy usually doesn't.

Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum rearrange a relationship. We help you land somewhere livable, close, and honest — without pretending it's the before.

Evidence-based trauma therapy for the stuff that insight alone can't resolve. For deep-dive intensive work, see the Intensives page.
