Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information this website collects, how it's used, and how to request deletion. This page describes the website only — it is not the Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA NPP) you'll receive as a client. You'll receive that separately before any clinical work begins.
What we collect
Inquiry form: name, email, phone (optional), state of residence, the service you're interested in, and the message you write. We use this to respond to your inquiry and schedule a consult.
Lead magnet form: email address, to deliver the Intimacy Audit PDF and an optional short follow-up series. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Analytics: if analytics are enabled, we record aggregate, de-identified usage (pages visited, CTA clicks, approximate region). We do not set cross-site tracking cookies or share your data with advertising networks.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We don't use the inquiry form or email list for marketing unrelated to this practice.
- We don't run retargeting ads that follow you around the internet.
Clinical records
Clinical records — session notes, intake forms, assessments — live in a separate, HIPAA-compliant EHR and are not connected to this website. If you're a client, you'll receive the full HIPAA NPP at intake and can request records at any time.
Cookies
The site uses minimal, first-party cookies only — to remember anonymous session state. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
Deletion requests
To request deletion of anything submitted through a form, email info@beyond-a-therapist.com with the subject line "Delete my data." Requests are handled within 30 days.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the change will be posted here with a revised date. This policy was last updated on the site's build date.
